Teacher of the Year

 

In 1995, the leaders of the Scottish Rite Valley of San Diego instituted the Teacher of the Year award event to demonstrate support for public education and to honor superior teachers.  Each school district nominates their candidate for this distinction.  A committee of Scottish Rite members reviews the nominations to choose the individual who will be chosen our "Teacher of the Year."  We are proud of our nominees. A number of them have gone on to be selected for local and national recognition.
