Military Recognition Night
The first Military Recognition Night was in 2006 to honor the men and women of our Armed Forces. Thereafter, it is scheduled on the first Wednesday of July to coincide with Independence Day,
July 4. One individual is selected from each of the five services (Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard) by their local commands to be recognized for outstanding service. In addition to the individual honorees, active and retired military personnel in uniform as well as wounded warriors able to attend the event are acknowledged and honored as dinner guests of our Valley. The event is accented by the pageantry of honor guards and traditional military theme songs.
